This Morning’s Holly Willoughby has offered herself up to replace Fergie in the Black Eyed Peas.

Co-host Phillip Schofield quizzed will.i.am and Taboo on how they intended to handle Fergie’s departure ahead of the group's upcoming tour.

American producer will.i.am joked: “I’m not going to do My Humps!”

Taboo, real name Jaime Luis Gomez, then made a proposal to Willoughby.

He said: “But if you would like to join us here in the UK, you can come on stage with us and rock.”

Willoughby was quick to jump at the offer admitting they would have to “hold me back.”

The 37-year-old joked: “Hold me back, I’ll be there. If that’s an offer I will be there.”

But she was quick to highlight her inability to sing in tune, turning to Schofield and saying: “Although he knows how badly I sing!”

Willoughby’s excitement comes days after she confirmed she will be replacing Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celebrity.

Willoughby will present the jungle reality show with Declan Donnelly when it returns to ITV later this year.

She said she is “excited” to be the chosen presenter, but joked she is “scared of everything that moves”.

In a statement she said: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.

These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit... Honestly, I’m a huge fan of I’m a Celebrity and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show! When is it a good time to tell Dec I’m scared of everything that moves?!”

Donnelly said he is “stupidly excited” to make Willoughby take part in Bushtucker Trials.

This Morning is on ITV, weekdays at 10:30am
