Jack Black took aim at Donald Trump as he was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 49-year-old School of Rock star, who was the latest inductee into the Walk of Fame, told fans: “If you get one of those stars that means you’ve made it.”

Impersonating Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose, Black sang, “Where do we go now?” before joking about retirement.

He then told the crowd he loved them before adding: “Except for Donald Trump. He’s a piece of s***!”

Fellow School of Rock actor Mike White paid tribute to Black: “To be as famous as you are and still be human takes a strong sense of self and a strong sense of character.”

Black’s star was number 2,645 on the Walk of Fame.

Black said he was “nervous” about receiving the honour, telling reporters: “I was really nervous this whole week leading up to this moment because I was like, the star is too big, it's something I've hoped and dreamed of for a long time.

“Once I was here all my friends and family came and it was really moving.”
