X Factor's Jade Ellis was consoled in style by her mentor Tulisa Contostavlos after being voted out of the competition.
Ellis, 25, from Charlton, is the fourth act to leave the show after Tulisa’s fellow judges saved boy band Union J.
After the show Ellis headed for Tulisa’s dressing room with singer Zayn Malik of One Direction, and the trio went on to Aura nightclub in Mayfair, where they danced until the early hours today.
Hours later, Ellis told ITV’s Daybreak it would be “a real treat” to be reunited with her six-year-old daughter, Caiden, and defended her mentor against judge Gary Barlow’s complaints about her “fag-ash breath” on Saturday’s show. “It’s just something you don’t say to a lady, especially on national TV,” said Ellis.
On the results show last night, Tulisa wore a nicotine patch on her arm while on ITV2’s The Xtra Factor, Barlow said: “Can I apologise to Tulisa? I mean it — you have the freedom to be as personal as you like to me for the rest of the series. Insult me.”
Lucy Spraggan, too ill to sing on The X Factor this week, automatically went through for next week.
