Jeremy Piven accused of ‘predatory behaviour’ by second actress
Jeremy Piven has been accused of inappropriate behaviour by a second actress, days after unequivocally denying claims that he groped Entourage star Ariane Bellamar.
Cassidy Freeman accused Piven of acting ‘predatory’ towards her when she was younger. She did not give details on his alleged behaviour.
The Longmire actress made the claims on Instagram, telling the actor to “keep it in your pants”.
It comes days after Bellamar accused the Mr Selfridge star of groping her on two occasions, once on the set of Entourage, and again at the Playboy Mansion.
Piven denied the “appalling” allegations, telling fans it “did not happen”.
In a statement he said: “I unequivocally deny the appalling allegations being peddled about me.
“It did not happen. It takes a great deal of courage for victims to come forward with their histories, and my hope is that the allegations about me that didn't happen, do not detract from stories that should be heard.”
HBO, which aired Entourage, said it has a “zero tolerance” policy on sexual harassment while CBS, which broadcasts the actor’s latest TV venture, Wisdom Of The Crowd, said it was “looking into the matter”.
Piven is the latest actor to have allegations of sexual misconduct levelled against him including Harvey Weinstein, Dustin Hoffman, James Toback and Kevin Spacey.
