Jess Wright and Giovanni Pernice shared a romantic weekend away in Rome just weeks after confirming their romance.

The two reportedly met late last year and hit it off after being introduced via Mark and his Strictly connections.

And now Wright has shared a cute picture from her recent trip to Rome with her beau, sightseeing and sampling the local food.

The 32-year-old posted a selfie of the two of them posing in the crisp Italian sunshine with a geotag filter showing they were in Rome.

Wright also put two photos of herself in the Italian capital on her Instagram page, including shots of her in Vatican City.

Earlier this month, Pernice posted a picture of himself kissing the model, captioned: “Buon San Valentino @jesswright77”.

Wright also made a nod to her new relationship, posting a scene from Love Actually on her social media, writing: “Happy Valentine’s Day. I hope someone makes you feel this special today #loveactually.”

An insider told The Sun Online that the couple had looked “loved up” on a date to the theatre to see Dreamgirls in November 2017.

They told the publication: “Giovanni was in the stalls bar and he bought two drinks, then Jess arrived. She was wearing all black, but it wasn't like she was hiding or anything.

“Giovanni was taking pictures with fans, but no-one seemed to notice Jess. She was really glammed up. It was obvious to everyone it was a date,” the source added.
