Katie Price has been criticised for posting a picture of her daughter with her ears pierced.

Price, 37, shared the image of her 17-month-old daughter Bunny with gold studs on her Instagram account.

It soon amassed over 4,000 likes and more than 600 comments as some followers slammed the image.

One user accused her of “disgusting parenting” while another posted: “There should be a law against getting babies ears pierced!”

Another accused her of using her children as fashion accessories: "Should be your child's choice if she wants her ears pierced, children are not a fashion accessory!!"

Price defended herself on Loose Women and said piercing her daughter's ears was down to husband Kieran Hayler's heritage.

"Well what about kids who get circumcised?," she said. “Kieran is half Spanish and it’s their tradition.

"I’m not going to sit here and justify myself she looks really cute."

The picture comes days after the former glamour model apologised for sharing a picture of her eight-year-old daughter Princess in heavy make-up and pink fake nails.

Addressing the backlash on Loose Women she said: "You're all right. I’m in the wrong. To me that's innocent because she’s copying her mum. But so many people said to me 'Oh my god Katie, think about paedophiles. And I thought 'Oh yeah, you're right'.

"When you say it, I can see it."
