Katie Price has voiced her ambition to team up with ex-husband Peter Andre to replace Laura Whitmore on I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here Now!
Price, 37 said it would be “cool” to front the ITV2 spin off show together.
Taking to Twitter just hours after Whitmore revealed she was stepping down, the former glamour model posted: “I would sooo present this how cool if me and pete did it.”
Andre – who married and has two children with Price after they met on the ITV reality show – has yet to comment on the tweet.
On Thursday night Whitmore announced she was ending her “wonderful” five year stint on the show.
In a statement she said: “After five incredible series working with my extended I’m A Celeb family, I’ve taken the tough decision to hang up my jungle boots.
“It’s been such a wonderful experience but I feel it’s time to move on. I wish the team well and look forward to tuning in later this year as well as continuing to work with ITV on other shows.”
Comedian David Morgan has also stepped down after co-hosting the show with Whitmore for one series.
A spokesperson for the show said: “We’re sad to see them go and wish them all the best.”
