Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have ended their feud with a simple plate of cookies, declaring “peace and last” between the singers.

The two stars have allegedly been sparring since 2012 when it was reported that Perry had “stolen” three of Swift's backing dancers from her Red tour.

It was later claimed that Swift’s hit Bad Blood, released in 2014, was about the Firework singer after Swift revealed to Rolling Stone that the track was about “another female artist who tried to sabotage an entire arena tour”.

Perry’s Swish Swish single months later appeared to be a retaliation, although neither star ever confirmed the true meanings behind their songs.

Now the feud seems to be well and truly behind the pair after Perry uploaded a plate of cookies to social media, saying that it “feels good” to be at peace.

The chocolate chip snacks sat on a plate coated with red icing, reading “peace at last” with peace sign symbols alongside it. Swift added a row of red heart emojis underneath the image and set Let's Be Friends as its location.

In her letter last year, Perry appeared to write: “Hey Old Friend - I've been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings between us.”

Swift filmed herself spotting the gift in her dressing room in a short Instagram stories video, lavishing thanks on Perry.

“I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch,” she said. “This means so much to me.”

The letter also reportedly asked to “clear the air” while Perry said she was “deeply sorry” for what had happened.
