Khloe Kardashian baby name: Kris Jenner reveals ‘True’ Thompson’s real meaning and showcases newborn’s Instagram handle

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has shed light on her newest granddaughter’s controversial name as well as revealing the newborn’s Instagram account.

In true Momager style, Kris posted an Instagram photo to celebrate the arrival of her “precious little granddaughter” and explain the family origin of the first name raising eyebrows online.

“FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton… my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton," she wrote.

Rounding up her explanatory post, Kris expressed her excitement that her third daughter, Khloe, 33, has chosen to continue this “#familytradition”.

Kris then linked to the Instagram account “@true” which has already been set up for the six-day-old infant.

The account, which has no profile photo or posts as of yet, has already gained 127k followers and rocketed the newborn to social media stardom overnight.

Khloe announced the birth to her first daughter, True Thompson, on her website “Khloe with a K” early this week.

She told fans that her daughter with basketball player Tristan “has completely stolen [their] hearts” and that they “are overwhelmed with LOVE.”

The arrival of baby True – a name which fans have been quick to highlight is ironic – has come amidst reports that Khloe’s partner of one year has been unfaithful in the days leading up to the birth.
