Kylie Minogue has denied altering a photograph of herself posted on Instagram.

Minogue hit back against her fans’ claims that she had photoshopped the snap, posting another image of herself against a backdrop of luxury hotel the Chateau Marmont’s “wonky walls”.

“Lovers you have eagle eyes. I’ll ask the Chateau Marmont [hotel] to straighten their walls but it’s part of the charm!! #wonkywalls. However, thanks for being ON IT!,” she commented.

Fans had accused the singer, 49, of using Photoshop when she posted the snap from her 2018 calendar.

The image showed the star leaning against a hotel balcony while wearing a crop top and high-waisted bikini bottoms.

But fans were quick to spot that the wall behind her appeared to curve around her bottom suggesting the body part had been photoshopped.

Minogue’s Instagram followers asked: “why is the wall curved?”, “is it available without Photoshop,” and remarked: “Photoshop fail”.

But one fan thought they had found an explanation for the wall’s unusual shape and leapt to Minogue’s defence, stating: “It’s not a wall it’s a wooden post with a chamfer”.

The hitmaker accompanied the post with a caption inviting her fans to snap up a copy of her 2018 calendar.

“#Lovers, you can pre-order your 2018 #KyleCalendar now! (link in bio),” she wrote.

It’s not the first time Minogue has been caught up in a photoshopping controversy. In 2012, Elle magazine came under fire for a front cover which showed the star missing a foot.
