Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock was allegedly attacked as she dined out at a London restaurant with a friend.

Pinnock, 25, was apparantly struck on the face by a fellow diner after she ate at VQ restaurant following a night out at Mayfair club, Drama.

An eye witness told The Sun that a man attacked Pinnock after she defended her friend when an altercation broke out over his girlfriend who was not present.

“He kept saying, ‘if my girlfriend was here, you would both feel really intimidated’,” the eye witness said.

“Leigh-Anne’s friend wasn’t going to let it go. She kept saying ‘no I wouldn’t, no I wouldn’t’. And Leigh-Anne started going, ‘Maybe I would, maybe I would’.

“And then he said something like ‘shut up’ to Leigh-Anne’s friend.

“Leigh-Anne turned around and said, ‘don’t say that to her’ or ‘don’t be rude’ and he walked around the table and leant into her and gave her a clean slap on the face.”

Pinnock reportedly laughed off the attack before “hysterically crying”.

A spokesman for The Met told the Standard: “"Police were called on Monday, 28 November at around 04:50 hours by a woman who stated that a man had threatened to assault her and had assaulted another woman she was with at a restaurant at Great Russell Street, WC1.

"Officers conducted a search of the area and did not locate the suspect.”

According to police, no arrests have been made and enquiries are on-going.

A member of staff at the restaurant said no one was available for comment and that they were unaware of the incident.
