LORD MAYOR'S SHOW

There will be over 5,500 people taking part in this annual event, including 2000 servicemen and women, 180 vehicles, 66 floats, 21 marching bands and 21 carriages.

The procession sets off from Mansion house at 10.55am and will be marked by a an aircraft flypast over the Royal Exchange, Mansion House and St Paul's Cathedral.

It then follows a specially designed route through the streets of the City to the Royal Courts of Justice where the Lord Mayor Elect takes his oath of allegiance to the Sovereign.

The day will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display at 5pm between Waterloo and Blackfriars Bridge and the best vantage points will be around the Embankment and Gabriel's Wharf.

The Lord Mayor's Show leaves Mansion House at 10.55 am on Sat 12 Nov 2005. The firework start at 5pm. Spectation along the route is free. Grandstand seats at St Paul's or Temple Gardens cost £21 each. Tel: 0845 458 0654 or visit www.lordmayorsshow.org
