Singer Louis Tomlinson jumped on a piñata fashioned with Naughty Boy’s face during a One Direction concert in Kansas.

Tomlinson, 22, proved his dislike for the music producer by destroying the piñata at Kansas City stadium on Tuesday night.

After stomping on the bear shaped piñata he then kicked it out into the crowd much to the amusement of fans

His fellow band mate Liam Payne also got involved and smiled as he sat on, and squashed, the object.

Clearly amused by the act some directioners took to Twitter to praise the pair with one tweeting: “Naughty Boy have you learned your lesson? SLAYY @Louis_Tomlinson @Real_Liam_Payne #OTRAKansascity.”

Other fans could not see the funny side and compared the act to bullying with one tweeter posting: “Louis having a go at a Naughty Boy piñata - thought they were against bullying?”

One user described the act as racist, writing: “the two of you & how childish that was. Did you know that piñata that carried Naughty Boy's face was a sign of racism? You deliberately encouraged racism without even noticing it.”

Tomlinson and Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, famously expressed their dislike for one another on Twitter following Zayn Malik's involvement with the music producer after he left One Direction.

After Naughty Boy tweeted a Souncloud link to a recording with Malik, Tomlinson posted: “Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you're so inconsiderate pal , seriously how f****g old are you ? Grow up ! #masterofallwisdom.

“I was talking about the video you tweeted . Clearly trying to wind the fans up ! Well you succeeded anyway. Fair play.”

The singer - who is set to become a father - later hit out at the producer's choice of photography, writing: “Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha! Some people still do HA!”

Naughty Boy responded: “and some people can't even sing.. but who's complaining when there's auto tune eh.”
