Miley Cyrus meets up with Lily Allen in LA and reveals her startling new look - bleached blonde eyebrows

She has faced a barrage of criticism ever since her controversial 'twerking' appearance at the MTV VMAs this summer.

But Miley Cyrus has at least one famous supporter. The 20-year-old star posed for a picture with Lily Allen as the British singer landed in LA ... and revealed a startling new look.

Her infamous tongue is still there but the Wrecking Ball singer appears to have bleached her eyebrows peroxide blonde, giving the impression that they have disappeared completely.

Allen seems not to be overly concerned by the disturbing new look, and posted a picture of her meeting with Cyrus on Instagram captioned: "Miley and me xx."

Allen - who is currently promoting her comeback single Hard Out Here - recently revealed she is a big fan of Cyrus, saying "Miley's a b****, rising. She's my hero".

And after her headline-grabbing performance at the MTV Awards with Robin Thicke, she said: "I just love her and anything that is remotely related to her. And if I could just be her then..."
