Mylene Klass and Samantha Barks lead the fashion stakes at BAFTA Children's Awards

Mylene Klass worked sophisticated glamour at the 2014 BAFTA Children's Awards on Sunday night.

The 36-year-old posed for pictures on the red carpet outside Camden’s Roundhouse in a red and pink Jaquard prom dress from her collection with online retailer Very.

Samantha Barks looked elegant in a high neck floor length blue lace dress as she cuddled up to her boyfriend and Urinetown star Richard Fleeshman on the red carpet.

Also at the annual awards show was Heart Radio presenter Emma Bunton who was accompanied by her eldest son Beau.

Looking smart in a shirt and suit trousers the seven year old posed for photos on the star studded red carpet.

Kids TV presenters Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood - Dick & Dom - picked up the Presenter award, while their show Diddy Movies won the Comedy gong.

Bagpuss creator Peter Firmin was honoured with the Special Award for his outstanding contribution to children’s media.

Also in attendance was Strictly Come Dancing contestants Simon Webbe - who was having a well-deserved break from training - as well as Steve Backshall who was voted out of the competition this weekend.
