Peter Andre’s wife Emily MacDonagh ‘doing fine’ after giving birth to baby son

Peter Andre and wife Emily MacDonagh have welcomed a baby son.

The Australian singer’s rep has confirmed that MacDonagh, 27, gave birth to her second child on Monday morning.

“Peter and Emily are both extremely happy. Both mother and baby are doing fine,” Andre’s spokesperson told The Sun.

The couple already have daughter Amelia together, while Andre has two children with ex-wife Katie Price, Junior, 11 and nine-year-old Princess.

Andre, 43, and MacDonagh tied the knot back in July 2015, 18 months after Amelia’s birth, having dated since 2012.

The couple recently relocated to Macdonagh’s family home in Somerset ahead of the birth.

“We were at Emily’s parents’ house in Taunton for a few days last week,” Andre said.

“We still think the baby is going to come early so we’re pretty much basing ourselves there as Emily wants to have the baby in Somerset.”

Pop star Andre recently experienced the pains of labour for himself through a birth simulator on Loose Women.

After donning a two-and-a-half stone pregnancy suit, the 43-year-old was hooked up to the world’s only birth simulator in Amsterdam in a bid to ‘help men understand what it feels like to give birth’.

Afterwards, he said: “It is nothing you'd ever expect. It's absolutely horrific! Nothing in the world prepared me for that.”
