Radiohead will reportedly be releasing their new album in June.

The iconic British band, who recently announced a UK tour, could be dropping their ninth album in just two months.

Despite staying relatively tight-lipped about new material, Brian Message, a partner in Courtyard Management, apparently let slip on Thursday evening.

During an ‘in conversation’ event at The Wansted Tap, Message reportedly confirmed the month of release, saying that it would be ‘like nothing you’ve ever heard.’

The venue confirmed the news, tweeting: “From the horses mouth "the new Radiohead album out in June will be like nothing like you've ever heard" (sic).”

Fans have been awaiting news of new material, which was expected to drop at some point this year, following 2011’s The King of Limbs.

Just last month, Radiohead’s visual collaborator Stanely Donwood admitted that he had heard the new album, describing it as a ‘work of art’.

The band recently announced a series of UK tour dates as well as confirming slots at festivals including Primavera and Secret Solstice.
