Rick Edwards marries actress girlfriend Emer Kenny in romantic Kew Gardens ceremony

Television presenter Rick Edwards has married his long-time girlfriend Emer Kenny.

The Channel 4 host tied the knot with the former EastEnders star in a romantic ceremony at Kew Gardens on Sunday.

Sharing a snap of the big day on his Instagram, the 37-year-old joked that the whole event was ‘no big deal’.

The next day he shared a photo of himself in the bath wearing his new wedding band, under the caption: “It's true what they say: married life IS tough.”

Kenny, who played Zsa Zsa Carter in the BBC soap back in 2010, also shared a number of snaps from the big day, including one of Edwards rubbing her feet after the ceremony.

“What husbands are for? Girls you gotta get one of these,” she wrote.

The couple were joined by a host of friends and family on the day, including model and presenter Alexa Chung.

Instead of jetting off on honeymoon this week, it seems that Kenny is straight back to work after walking down the aisle.

Kenny, who has previously starred in TV shows including Pramface and Siblings, shared a picture of herself on set just hours after her wedding, with her new husband in the background.
