Rita Ora proved that she can do an uncanny Cher impression as she opened up about her big night at the Met Gala on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The singer, who attended the lavish fashion party for the seventh time on Monday night, told the chat show host that she was “still getting over [her] hangover” after partying with fellow musician Lizzo and dancing as Cher performed a string of hits.

Showing the audience a candid snap of her and Lizzo at the exclusive bash, Ora explained that the pair had spent the evening “flirting with all the waiters.”

“She’s so fun. She was my date, we all went with Marc Jacobs. It was me, Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss, Lizzo, it was really fashiony,” she recalled.

“I had so much fun, Lizzo and me were like drinking on the table – not standing on the table – and all I kept saying was, ‘Lizzo, what are you looking at?’ She was like, turning around and she just kept flirting with all the waiters.

“So I just got involved and was like, ‘Let’s just flirt with the waiters!’ because they’re all so handsome. So that was our entertainment – and then Cher came out.”

The singer and Fallon then expressed their mutual admiration of the 72-year-old singer, who performed Believe, If I Could Turn Back Time and Abba’s Waterloo at the event, which takes place at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art every year.

The pair then showed off their best impressions of the legendary musician’s distinctive voice, despite Ora claiming that she “doesn’t know the words.”

Ora went on to admit that it was a relief to see other stars embracing the Gala’s camp theme, telling Fallon: “It was cool because everyone was totally dressed up and I felt like really normally dressed for once in my life.”

The singer also treated the audience to a performance of her latest track Carry On, a collaboration with Kygo that features on the soundtrack for Detective Pikachu.
