Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood is to marry for the third time - to a theatre producer 31 years his junior.

The 65-year-old will tie the knot with Sally Humphreys, 34, whom he has been dating for around six months.

A source told The Sun that the couple had been “insperarable for months” and that Wood “always had an eye for (Humphreys) but she was in a relationship”.

The two are believed to have grown close in October 2011 while working together on Wood's show Ronnie Wood – I Feel Like Playing - Live at the Ambassadors.

They were first seen together in November last year after Wood ended a short romance with PR woman Nicola Sargent.

Wood split from his previous girlfriend, Brazilian model Ana Araujo, in October last year - although Araujo has somewhat awkwardly moved in a few doors down from Wood's Holland Park house, a development Wood jokingly described to The Telegraph as gaining "the neighbour from hell".

The father-of-four has also just emerged from a dispute with his second wife Jo, who had been unofficially selling Stones outfits.

Their divorce was finalised last year after they broke up in 2008. Wood’s first marriage to Krissy Findlay ended in 1978, when he left his wife of more than 20 years for 21-year-old former cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.

The guitarist is said to have popped the question after securing his financial future with the Rolling Stones's upcoming run of gigs to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

The band recently played their first live concert in five years in front of 350 fans in Paris and will appear at the 02 arena in November - a show that has met with controversy after tickets were priced at £375.

Humphreys is already said to have grown close to Wood's stepson Jamie, son of his second wife.

Earlier this year, Jamie told the Daily Mail: 'She’s a nice girl and we’ve known her for years. She’s not his type, that’s the unusual thing. Sally’s definitely not one of the bimbos he usually goes for."

Keith Richards did not seem so keen on the idea of a wedding. Sources told The Sun he was “sick of buying wedding presents” for his bandmate.
