The first two contestants have been voted off BBC One talent show The Voice.
Five artists from mentor Sir Tom Jones's team and Will.i.am's five performers sang on Saturday night's first live episode, hoping to win viewers' votes.
Three were saved by the public and automatically went through to the next round. It was then up to Will and Sir Tom to choose which of their own acts to save, with Sam Buttery and Sophie Griffin getting the boot during last night's results show.
The veteran Welsh singer had to choose between couple Matt & Sueleen, who performed their version of Fleetwood Mac classic Go Your Own Way, and Buttery, who sang Erasure's A Little Respect.
Buttery, 20, from London, said: "I've just loved working with Tom, he's just been amazing. Matt & Sueleen gave a great performance.
"I'm just lucky for the time that I've had, to grow on the show. I'm pretty gutted and it feels like my heart has been ripped out. But I'm still happy, a little bit."
Black Eyed Peas singer Will had to choose between Joelle Moses and Sophie, who he said were both "amazing talents".
Joelle had performed I'm Going Down by Mary J Blige while Sophie sang Titanium by David Guetta, featuring Sia.
Sophie, 17, from County Tyrone, said: "This has been the best experience of my whole entire life.
"I've learnt so much and I've worked with some of the best people in the whole entire world. I'm really gutted, but thank-you so much for everything.
"I couldn't have had a better coach, it's been a dream come true. He's just let me be myself and I love him. He's been amazing."
The show also featured a guest performance from US singer Lana Del Rey, performing Blue Jeans.
Next week, the acts mentored by Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J will compete to remain in the competition.
