Sheridan Smith has revealed that she has a new boyfriend during a performance at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday night.

Bringing her nationwide tour to the London venue, Smith is currently promoting her debut album that consists of original songs as well as covers of jazz classics.

Giving fans an insight into the current state of her love life, the 36-year-old star referred to her new boyfriend throughout the evening, according to the Daily Mail.

“My boyfriend loves this song,” she said, before devoting one of her jazz covers to her new romantic interest.

“Whoops, did I let that slip?” she joked.

Channelling the glamour of the jazz musicians that have influenced her music, Smith wore her short blonde hair curled and donned an off-the-shoulder red dress for the surprisingly intimate concert.

She later changed into a pink sequin dress which she paired with a feather boa for full glamorous effect.

The Gavin and Stacey star previously dated co-star and The Late Late Show host James Corden and was most recently linked to model, Graham Nation who she once described as her “dream man” before they split last June.

Remaining tight-lipped on the identity of her new love interest, Smith was careful not to reveal any further details.

The singer also used the show as an opportunity to thank her fans for their support following the death of her father last year, telling them “I kind of just lost it and I was totally going to give it all up. The reason I didn’t is you guys.”

Smith was left devastated by the sudden of her father Colin two years and forced to pull out of her remaining West End performances as the lead in Funny Girl shortly after his cancer diagnosis.

The actress and singer will conclude her UK tour in Cardiff on April 29th.
