Spectre: Daniel Craig looks dapper as he poses with Bond girls at photocall

Daniel Craig was in full-on Bond mode as he took centre stage at the Spectre photocall.

The James Bond star looked slightly more casual than his alter-ego as he opted for jeans and an open shirt for the official press call on Thursday.

Craig, 47, seemed happy to share the limelight with Bond girls Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux who posed either side of him.

Director Sam Mendes was also on hand for pictures as was Bond villain Christoph Waltz, who plays Franz Oberhauser.

Extended cast including Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Andrew Scott were also around to help promote the eagerly anticipated film.

Spectre, which is out on general release on October 26, will open with a black tie gala premiere on Monday night.

Speaking about the iconic character in a recent intrerview with Jonathan Ross, Craig talks about how Bond can’t become ‘a superhero’.

“He can’t stop speeding bullets, he’s got to bleed,” Craig explains. “I just think that the more real you make it, the more the audience will believe it.”

“I can’t really reveal anything but needless to say we haven’t shied away from [gadgets],” promises Craig.

This is rumoured to be the star’s last outing as the famous spy, although co-star Harris has other thoughts.

"To say that he doesn’t want to come back — I just don’t believe it for a second,” she recently said.
