Taylor Swift has been accused of copying the idea behind her VMA-nominated video for Bad Blood from a Korean band.

In the wake of her Twitter row with Nicki Minaj, a number of fans surfaced Come Back Home by K-pop group 2NE1, which they suggested was similar to Swift's video.

One Twitter user directly tweeted Minaj with stills from the 2014 video, outlining the similarities between them, writing: "@NICKIMINAJ can we talk about how taylor's video isn't original and was copied from a group of four WOC, 2NE1."

While some users seemed to agree, others pointed out that the videos had lots of differences including plot and setting.

Swift's video centres around a group of secret agents, while 2NE1's is set in a dystopian future, about a group of rebels.

The director has denied the allegations.

The 25-year-old US singer faced a backlash on Twitter on Wednesday after she became embroiled in a war of words with Nicki Minaj following the MTV VMA nominations announcement.

While Swift's Bad Blood is nominated for Video of the Year, Minaj's Anaconda missed out, causing her to hit out at MTV on her social media account.

Minaj wrote: "If I was a different "kind" of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well."

Appearing to reference Swift's record-breaking Bad Blood, Minaj added: "When the "other" girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination."

A couple of hours later, Minaj added: "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.
