The X Factor 2015: Myleene Klass ‘set to join’ Rylan Clark to present live Judges' Houses show

Myleene Klass is reportedly being lined up to join The X Factor as a presenter.

The former pop star is thought to be co-hosting this year’s live Judges’ Houses with Rylan Clark while Caroline Flack and Olly Murs remain in the UK.

According to The Sun, the 37-year-old is being drafted in by producers to act as a ‘roving reporter’ for the brand new series.

An insider told the paper: “Simon has always been a fan of Myleene and has thrown in her name during meetings with ITV.

“She’s proven as a presenter on CNN and ‘BBQ Champ’, plus ‘I’m A Celeb’ showed she can stand out in an exotic setting.”

Returning judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has been credited with shaking up the format of the show in her new role as Executive Producer.

The former Girls Aloud star reportedly came up with the idea of making the Judges’ Houses round live to include viewer participation.

Despite new judges Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw joining the panel, a brand new presenting team and a re-vamped format, The X Factor is already stuggling in the ratings.

Before rival Strictly Come Dancing even hits screens, the ITV show has suffered its lowest viewing figures for an opening episode in nine years.
