X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos today told how she felt “betrayed and devastated” over a sex tape leaked online.
The singer has accused her ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards of posting the video, saying friends had warned her it would appear.
Last night, she posted a video herself on YouTube, on which she said: “This is someone that I loved, that I trusted, that meant the world to me, that I feel deeply betrayed by. I am sure that everyone at home has had intimate moments with someone they cared about and never expected at any point that they would go and share it with the rest of the world.”
The seven-minute video appeared last week. Contostavlos, 23, said she got together with the grime MC when she was 17 and the couple “practically” moved in together for a while. The former N-Dubz star said: “I confronted him on this situation ... he completely denied it and here we are today and the footage is now circulating online.” She accused Edwards of “sitting in silence, pretending it’s not him on the tape when it is”.
Edwards tweeted: “I believe in silence being a sign of integrity but in this case I guess I’ll have to speak up and lay out the facts and let you guys decide.”
