US audiences were left disappointed after Tom Hiddleston’s bottom was censored during an episode of The Night Manager.

Hiddleston’s bare behind sent UK viewers into a frenzy when he dropped his trousers on the BBC show – but fans across the pond were banned from seeing it.

Some had been waiting for weeks to catch a glimpse of his derriere after he flashes it during a raunchy scene with Elizabeth Debicki.

Unable to contain their fury, fans took to Twitter to vent.

One angry fan tweeted: "Weeks and weeks of waiting patiently for #Hiddlesbum and @AMC_TV decides America can't handle it. WTF?! #NoHIDDLESBUMforUS!"

Another posted: “I feel as if America has been denied a trip to the lovely English Countryside. #Hiddlesbum.”

One tried to reassure US fans that they will still be able to catch a glimpse of Hiddleston expopsing his bottom as his latest film High Rise features "butts & dancing & brilliance!"

Another posted: "They didn't show Tom Hiddleston's peachy bum on American TV ? Outrageous! #TheNightManager."

Hiddleston fans couldn’t get enough of his bottom when it aired in the UK with the hashtag “#Hiddlesbum” soon trending.

The actor recently opened about his success from the show, saying he is heading for a career "downturn".

Speaking at the BAFTA TV Awards he said: “What comes up, must come down.

“I’m bound to have a downturn at some point — probably sooner rather than later.”

Fans of The Night Manager have since been calling for the BBC to commission another series - something Alistair Petrie said is a 'possibility'.

Speaking to Standard Online he said: "There are so many factors that will determine [a second series]. Is it possible? Yes, I think it is. But it is genuinely a case of wait and see."
