Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria show off their high kicks in Cannes post-party photos

Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria showed off their flexibility in a series of post-party pictures in Cannes.

The best friends, who had been on the red carpet earlier in the evening at the gala screening of Café Society, decided to carry on the party in their hotel room.

In what is fast becoming her trademark pose, the former Spice Girl raised one leg up to her head in a rather impressive high kick.

She captioned the snap: “High kicks in Cannes X@Evalongoria Good night Cannes X #Girlsgirl x.”

Longoria, 41, went on to share a video of the friends strutting along to Croisette together after their night out.

Beckham, who posted a picture of herself in a similar pose back in March, credit ballet lessons for her new found flexibility.

She wrote: “It's amazing what you can do in culottes...those ballet classes are paying off!”

Both Beckham and Longoria had attended the star-studded Cannes opening gala earlier in the evening, joined by a host of A-listers including Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore and Bella Hadid.

The opening film of the festival, screening out of competition, was Woody Allen’s Café Society.

Stars of the film including Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively were the main attraction at the Palais Des Festivals after their photocall earlier in the day.

The Cannes Film Festival runs May 11-22.
