EastEnders have released a creepy trailer starring the ghost of Lucy Beale ahead of the show’s 30th anniversary week and the unveiling of her killer's identity.

The spooky one minute clip features a swing moving on its own, bottle tops unscrewing in the Minute Mart and hand prints sliding down the door of Ian and Jane’s fish and chip shop before the Walford residents spot Lucy floating above Albert Square.

The trailer follows the music box clue which was revealed live on stage at the National Television Awards last week.

Lucy Beale’s character – played by Hetti Bywater - was discovered with head injuries on Walford Common on 18 April 2014. Cast members have been kept in the dark with only a few members of the production team aware of the killer's identity.

Her father Ian, his ex Denise Fox, Max Branning, close friends Abi and Lauren Branning, and even her twin brother Peter are among the potential suspects.
