Wayne and Coleen Rooney announce the birth of their third child
Coleen Rooney has given birth to her third child with footballer husband Wayne.
The pair shared the news on Twitter, saying they were "over the moon" after the birth of their third son.
They have named the 8lb 1oz youngster Kit Joseph Rooney.
The couple, who were childhood sweethearts, already have two boys, six-year-old Kai and two-year-old Klay.
Wayne Rooney, who captains both Manchester United and the England national team, married Coleen in Italy in 2008.
It is believed that Coleen, 29, was admitted to the Liverpool Women's Hospital yesterday ahead of the birth as Wayne, 30, captained Manchester United at Old Trafford as they lost to Southampton 1-0.
Posting almost identical messages on Twitter on Sunday evening, the pair wrote: "Our gorgeous little boy arrived today. Kit Joseph Rooney. 8Ib 1oz. We are all over the moon."

The couple had announced that Coleen was expecting in July with simultaneous tweets on their Twitter pages.
In a previous interview, Coleen told OK! Magazine they would "definitely not" find out the sex of their baby.
But she told the magazine said she would "love a girl because it would complete the family".
She added: "Hopefully the anticipation of the sex will make the labour go a bit quicker."
