Russell Brand and Jemima Khan appeared to confirm their fledgling romance as they strolled around New York’s East Village.
The couple looked relaxed as they walked arm in arm in the sunshine but leapt apart when they spotted photographers. Khan also tried to cover her face.
Brand, 38, recently revealed that he was dating someone, writing that he was “presently beleaguered with a nerdish, whirling dervish and am eschewing all others”.
Last week he was seen on a bike ride with Khan in east London before they went for a Vietnamese meal in Hackney.
Brand, who divorced pop star Katy Perry last year, and 39-year-old socialite and journalist Khan have known each other for two years.
She has two sons with former husband Imran Khan and dated actor Hugh Grant for three years until 2007.
