Paris Jackson has hit back at family members who have said they fear she is heading for a “serious meltdown”.

The 20-year-old reportedly sparked concern after she posted a series of disturbing videos online, including one of herself walking along the edge of a tall building and another of her and Cara Delevingne “talking loudly to one another, failing to complete sentences and staggering about,” according to Page Six.

But Jackson has now hit back at the reports, urging family members to call her if they are concerned for her health.

Speaking in an Instagram video she said: “So apparently people think I’m about to die. My therapist text me about it laughing though, so that’s good.”

Her friend can be heard adding: “It’s a terrible thing and not true.”

Jackson, who has brothers Michael Joseph Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson, continued: “So I guess to the family members that are talking to all these news outlets saying you’re worried for me, when was the last time you called me?

“Prince isn’t worried, why? Because Prince and I talk all the time – we hang out. If you’re worried about me, call me.”

Paris is the second child of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe. She claimed to be her father’s favourite child as she was the singer’s only daughter.

“When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers,” she told Harper’s Bazaar last year. “Growing up, I was treated as the favourite because I was the only girl.

“I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad’s eyes.”

Michael died in 2009 after being administered a large dose of anaesthetic propofol.
