Rihanna was meant to be the headline act at the Capital FM Summertime Ball. But it was Cheryl Cole that set tongues wagging.

Rumours have been rife that Cheryl is more than just good friends with her backing dancer Derek Hough and the pair did nothing to put them to rest.

Instead, they gave a raunchy performance on stage at Wembley Stadium; gyrating and getting up close and personal in front of the crowd.

Meanwhile, Rihanna showed off a bright red hair do. Fans went wild for her tracks Madhouse, Rude Boy and Russian Roulette and Umbrella.
