Heartbroken Cheryl Cole has turned to WAG-in-chief Victoria Beckham to help her cope with allegations surrounding her husband Ashley.

The two girls have had several chats over the phone as Cheryl takes a break from her marriage - amid reports that her man had unprotected sex with another woman.

The Girls Aloud star thought her Spice Girls friend would be the perfect person to turn to for advice. Posh had to deal with similar claims that David Beckham had an affair in 2004.

Girls talk: Cheryl Cole has been taking advice from Victoria Beckham

Cheryl, 24, has moved out of the marital home after hairdresser Aimee Walton, 22, claimed she was offered money to have an abortion following a one-night stand with Ashley.

Since her claims, two more women have come forward saying they slept with Ashley. Cheryl is taking time out from the relationship, and has also put her Girls Aloud duties on hold for the time being while she recovers.

A source said: "Victoria was really upset when she heard what happened, and wanted Cheryl to know she was there for her.

The pair are good friends, and Posh went through exactly the same thing when Rebecca Loos claimed she had an affair with David a few years ago.

"She stuck by her man and got through it, and she just wanted to tell Cheryl that she could get through it too. While the claims against David were never proved, Ashley might have a tougher time clearing his name after this one.

"Three girls have now claimed they've slept with Ashley, and Cheryl isn't going to let him get off lightly."

Cheryl initially stood by her man after Miss Walton's claims, but was shattered by further allegations from two women „ Brooke Healy and Coralie Robinson - and is now staying at a secret location.

A Cheryl spokesman said today that recent reports of her STI tests, travelling abroad and refusing to answer Ashley's texts were untrue.
