Cheryl Cole leads tributes to Pat Evans
Cheryl Cole "shed a tear" over the death of Pat Evans.
The singer admitted she couldn't keep her emotions in check when she watched the Walford matriarch - who was played by Pam St. Clement - pass away on 'EastEnders' on New Year's Day.
She tweeted: "Please tell me I'm not the only person to have shed a tear at #Eastenders?? Is there something wrong with me..? *bbm crying face*

Meanwhile, Manchester United footballer Rio Ferdinand admitted he also found the episode particularly emotional.
He wrote: "Watching Pat Butcher fade out in eastenders is getting the family emotional, come on, u can pull through, use Dot Cotton as the inspiration! (Sic)"
Pam's co-star Adam Woodyatt, who plays lan Beale in the BBC One soap, also used the social networking website to pay tribute to his co-star on her departure as the much-loved, multiple-married character.
He wrote: "Goodbye Pat Harris Beale Wicks Butcher Evans, we will miss you."
Pat's death from terminal cancer saw 9.76 million viewers tune in to the soap, a ratings triumph for New Year's Day.
It was followed by the station's drama 'Sherlock', which brought in 8.75 million viewers, and 'Absolutely Fabulous' with 7.12 million.
The high figures are in contrast to those of ITV, whose highest audience in the same time slot for the network premiere of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' was just 3.45 million.
