'Drug gang nightmare of Girls Aloud star'
A drugs gang hoping to turn a flat into a cocaine cash and carry gatecrashed the home of Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, a court heard.
The four men were said to have been "reconnoitring" the area for a safe house to store millions of pounds of the drug before distributing it and had thought the flat, in a gated development in north London, was empty.
Harrow Crown Court was told letting agent and alleged accomplice Marc Fisher, 48, gave them the keys after mistakenly thinking the 21-year-old had moved, said prosecutor Nick Corsellis.
He told jurors alleged gang member James Anderson was among four men who turned up at Coyle's home.
The gang, allegedly with Fisher's help, eventually managed to find an empty apartment on the 30-acre estate at Friern Barnet, and set up a "wholesale drug shop".
Bryan Miller and Anderson were alleged to have taken part in a drugs handover with Ewart Henry - involving several kilograms of cocaine.
Anderson, 33, of Northolt; Fisher, of Totteridge, and Henry, 43, of Chatham, Kent, all deny conspiring to supply 42kg of cocaine on or before 24 August 2005.
Police found cocaine at the flat worth more than £50,000.
