Florence Pugh made a statement as she joined her fellow actors on the picket line for the ongoing SAG strike.

On Tuesday the Don’t Worry Darling star rocked up for the protest with an eye-catching spiky platinum blonde buzz cut and white mini dress as she marched with the crowd at Disney’s Burbank studios.

Pugh, who curently stars in epic film Oppenheimer, was all amped up – judging by her animated expressions – and was sporting a SAG-AFTRA (the union that represents actors) sticker on the front of her dress.

The 27-year-old is the latest A-List actor to actively protest in Los Angeles. Recently, the picket line has been joined by the likes of Susan Sarandon, Olivia Wilde and Rosario Dawson.

SAG-AFTRA has brought Hollywood to a standstill with its strike since June 14th.

The organisation also joins the writers’ union, WGA, which has been on strike since May 2, in a bid to get better residuals for actors and writers from streaming content, protection from Artificial Intelligence and other critical issues.

The strike initially began after an agreement was not reached over better pay for actors and increased safeguarding around artificial intelligence (AI) rights.

Pugh also shared the images of the protest on her Instagram Stories.

But while active work on set has come to a halt, the British star has no shortage of projects previously filmed and ready for release.

Apart from enjoying the success of Oppenheimer, the star will be starring as Princess Irulan in Dune: Part Two, which hits cinemas November 3.

She will also be seen in upcoming romantic drama We Live in Time.
