Gordon Ramsay: 'Posh and I are opening an LA restaurant together'
It is the most unlikely of culinary partnerships, a stick-thin Spice Girl who loves edamame beans and a short-fused chef who hates "food snobs".
So it came as some surprise when Gordon Ramsay announced he will set up a restaurant in Los Angeles with Victoria Beckham.
The pair hope their West Coast dining room will tempt the city's health freaks from their seaweed shakes and get them digging into hearty British grub.

Michelin-starred chef Ramsay, 41, broke the news at the GQ men of the year awards.
He said: "Yes, it is true that Victoria and I are setting up a restaurant in LA together. I'm really excited.
"She's really keen to focus on a traditional English style menu, like bangers and mash, fish and chips and such like."
The news came as Victoria hosted a star-studded birthday party for her son Romeo at Universal Studios in LA yesterday.
The birthday boy, who turned six, was dressed as Batman and was joined by brothers Cruz (as a Power Ranger) and Brooklyn, rock star Gavin Rossdale and son Kingston and supermodel Heidi Klum and daughter Leni.
