Holly Willoughby had a subtle pop at Eamonn Holmes after he accused her of not knowing the names of crew members working with her on ITV programme This Morning.

Holmes, who was axed as a presenter on the show in 2020 after 15 years, has launched a series of scathing attacks on the mum-of-three over the last couple of weeks.

The Northern Irish-born star didn’t mince his words when discussing both her and her former co-host Phillip Schofield after he sensationally quit ITV after admitting to secretly having an affair with a younger male colleague which he lied about for years.

Speaking on GB News, Holmes said: “Holly doesn’t know people’s names, either.

“This is legendary within the production teams, that how distant they are and how they just don’t care.”

On Wednesday’s episode of the show however, Willough went out of her way to namedrop a cameraman on set.

It’s after he was almost whacked in the face by a prosecco cork released by celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo.

Willoughby said: “Oh my god you almost got Steve in the eye!

Adding: “Jeez, Louise. He needs those eyes, he’s on camera four.”

D’Acampo then joked: “Camera four is down.”

Meanwhile, Willoughby’s co-host Dermot O’Leary added: “We value Steve. Steve is like the poster boy for cameramen. No one injure Steve, for god’s sake.”
