The battle to win Dancing on Ice is increasingly becoming a sideline contest, by the look of it – at least for the female competitors of the hit show

The real challenge, it seems, is who will shed the most weight on the rink – and wow the most admirers with their new sexier figures.

Ahead of the pack so far are former glamour model Linda Lusardi and ex-Coronation Street actress Zaraah Abrahams.

The grueling skating regime has already helped Linda, 49, regain the same figure she had at the tender age 23 – and slip into a tiny size eight dress.

And Zaraah, 21 – known to Corrie fans as knicker stitcher Joanne Jackson – says three months of training have given her an even shaplier bottom than pop star Jennifer Lopez.

"I've toned up in some places and lost weight in others," the 6/1 favourite to win the ITV1 show told the Sunday Mirror.

"I have noticed that doing this show my bingo wings have stopped flapping and my bum's tighter and more pert than before. It looks better than J-Lo's."

She added: "It gives you more energy too, so things have certainly been improved in the bedroom.

"But it's not all good news though – I have noticed a bit of shrinkage in my boobs."

But shrinkage doesn't worry Linda, who is competing to achieve the perfect bottom - looking to ex-contestant Bonnie Langford for inspiration.

She told The Sun: "I'm down to a size eight and I haven't been that small since I was 23.

"I've got a little six pack, which I'm very proud of, and my bum is getting toned."

Recently voted the most beautiful Page Three model of all time, it looks as though Linda still hasn't lost her appeal.

Linda claims her skating regime has gotten her back down to a size eight

The former actress is determined to win the ITV reality show as she has already out-run stars such as 25-year-old singer Samantha Mumba and 29-year-old television presenter Natalie Pinkham.

She said: "I don't think about being older than most of the others on the show.

"I don't feel 49, I feel 21!"
