Move over Nigella. Liz Hurley is to abandon her film career to become a TV chef.

The 42-year-old actress says running her own 400-acre organic farm has inspired her to present a programme about healthy eating aimed at women.

Ms Hurley, whose last significant role was as a cat-suited devil in Bedazzled in 2000, also reveals she is trying for a baby with husband Arun Nayar, a millionaire Indian businessman.

Some like it hot: Sexy Nigella dishes it out

In an interview with a Brazilian newspaper, she speaks of her farm in Gloucestershire where she spends most of her time with her husband and her son Damian, five, from a previous liaison.

She says: "I love making films but now I have a child and I have chosen not to transform him into a little gipsy who travels with me between sets.

"I'd like to have a TV show on healthy eating. Who knows? Maybe you'll see me in front of the stove there soon."

Handful: Liz has rarely been shy of flaunting her cleavage

The voluptuous Nigella Lawson: Liz's soon-to-be TV rival

Like her 'rival' Nigella, the raven-haired actress is not exactly shy when it comes to flaunting her cleavage.

The versatile beauty shot to fame on Hugh Grant's arm 13 years ago when she wore THAT dress - the now infamous safety-pin Versace creation - to the premiere of hit movie 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'.

Over a decade later, Liz still manages to steal the spotlight, wowing the crowds last week in a dazzling knee-length frock at a gala in London's Covent Garden.

Dressed in her trademark white, she led a glamorous pack of stars who turned out to support a charity auction for Elton John's Aids Foundation at No 1 The Piazza.

So watch out Nigella. Will the fur fly in an on-screen kitchen catfight?
