Irish twins Jedward are firm favourites to win Celebrity Big Brother tonight.

Bookmakers William Hill have made the duo, real names John and Edward Grimes, 4/9 to win Channel 5's revamped reality show.

Kerry Katona is second favourite at 11/4 with My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star Paddy Doherty at 5/1.

The other surviving contenders are Amy Childs, Lucien Laviscount, Darryn Lyons and model Bobby Sabel.

William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said: "Anybody but Jedward winning would be a major coup for us and we are keeping our fingers crossed for a last minute upset, but for all intents and purposes, they look like they have it in the bag already."

The brothers shot to fame with their energetic dance routines and gravity-defying quiffs on The X Factor and represented Ireland in Eurovision earlier this year.

A new series of the regular Big Brother series begins tomorrow.

The show, which was previously on Channel 4, has proved a success in its new home.

An average of 5.1 million tuned in on the first night which was slightly down on the figures for the opening of the final Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4 last year.
