Jimmy Carr and Rich Hall were crowned comedy legends today.

The pair were among the winners at the 2011 Loaded Laftas awards held at The Cuckoo Club in Piccadilly, London.

Carr, whose deadpan one-liners have seen him perform to sell-out audiences on lengthy tours, picked up the accolade of Loaded Legend.

Hall, who won the Perrier Comedy Award at the 2000 Edinburgh Festival for his show featuring his alter ego Otis Lee Crenshaw, was given the title of Stand-up Legend.

Loaded Editor Andy Sherwood said: "This year's awards just highlight the fantastic calibre of comedic talent we have in the UK across live stand up, television, radio and film and we're delighted to be celebrating such stellar talent at this year's Loaded Laftas."

Alan Carr and Isy Suttie picked up the awards for Funniest Man and Woman respectively, while Michael McIntyre scooped Best Stand Up for the second year running.

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer also hold on to their title as Funniest Double Act.

There was double success for Rhod Gilbert who was named Funniest TV Personality and saw his show, Ask Rhod Gilbert, win Best Panel Show.

PhoneShop won Funniest TV Show ahead of The Inbetweeners and Peep Show and Omid Djalili and David Baddiel's movie The Infidel received Funniest Film award.
