Justin Timberlake is set to pick up nearly £1million for performing at the bar mitzvah of billionaire mogul Philip Green's son.

According to reports, he may have to mime to his hits, which include Cry Me A River, after undergoing throat surgery in LA last week.

The celebration for the BHS boss's son, Brandon, 13, will take place at the Grand Hotel in the French resort of St Jean Cap Ferrat.

In 2002 Mr Green paid Rod Stewart £750,000 to play at his 50th birthday party.
