Kelly Rowland wants to return to 'The X Factor' next year.

The 'Down For Whatever' hitmaker - who mentored third-place Amelia Lily in this year's series - explained despite a rumoured feud with co-judge Tulisa Contostavlos, she really enjoyed her first year on the panel and is hoping boss Simon Cowell asks her to return.

She said: "There is no place like the UK 'X Factor'. If Simon wants me back next year, then that would be good."

Kelly - who is currently based in Los Angeles - is considering buying a house in the UK if she gets offered the gig again.

She added in an interview with the Daily Mirror: "I'm definitely considering buying a house over here as I love it here.

"My mother would have a problem with me moving away from home so she may have to move with me. She doesn't like that long plane ride so I've got to make sure I make her happy."

However, the former Destiny's Child singer is concerned she will develop a British accent like Madonna if she stays in the UK too long.

She said: "If I went back to the States and I took some these accent moments with me, my friends would cut me down!

"They'd be like, 'Oh, Madonna, really?!' Like they would go in on me and I love Madonna, but yeah. I would need to be over here for years in order to get a British accent, not a couple of months."
