Kerry Katona threatens to quit Celebrity Big Brother

Kerry Katona has panicked 'Celebrity Big Brother' bosses by threatening to quit the show.

The 30-year-old star - who is mum to Molly, 10, and eight-year-old Lilly-Sue, four-year-old daughter Heidi and three-year-old son Max - admitted she was in a "Catch 22 situation" because while she is struggling to be apart from her kids, she doesn't want to let them down by leaving the series.

She told 'CBB' producers in the diary room: "I miss my kids so much I'm thinking about walking. But then if I quit I will feel like I have let them down. I'm in a Catch 22 situation."

However, Kerry - who has been through two failed marriages to ex-Westlife singer Brian McFadden and taxi driver Mark Croft - could find herself cheered up by a potential romance in the house with 'Waterloo Road' actor Lucien Laviscount.

According to Sally Bercow - who was evicted from the Channel 5 show on Friday night - the pair's relationship is really hotting up, despite Lucien originally indulging in a cheeky flirtation with former reality star Amy Childs.

Sally said: "If there's any relationship that will develop from the house it's between Lucien and Kerry. I think Amy was too glam for him.

However, the wife of Commons Speaker John Bercow thinks the pair's 11-year age gap could prevent their romance from progressing.

She added: "Personally, I don't think he's mature enough for Kerry."
