LeBlanc's very good Friend

Former Friends star Matt LeBlanc, who filed for divorce from his wife last week, is going out with his co-star from spin-off sitcom Joey, it was claimed today

People magazine said the actor is involved with Andrea Anders, who plays his neighbour Alexis in the show.

The 38-year-old filed for divorce from his wife of three years Melissa a week ago, citing irreconcilable differences, but his spokesman said the pair remained friends.

According to People, Melissa, 41, was shocked in January when LeBlanc unexpectedly announced that he was moving out of the home they shared in Encino, California.

Melissa's long-time friend Kelly Phillips told the magazine: "It was very sudden. She was absolutely blindsided by what transpired."

In March, Melissa accused LeBlanc of being involved with another woman and he admitted he was, it was reported. The magazine said that according to friends, she was still hoping for a reconciliation when she was told by her husband's lawyer that he was about to file for divorce.

A spokesman for LeBlanc declined to comment to People. "We're not interested in having a public discussion about private family matters," he said.

LeBlanc played struggling actor Joey Tribbiani in Friends, reprising his character in the spin-off Joey.

He and Melissa married in Hawaii in 2003 in a ceremony attended by several of LeBlanc's Friends co-stars and other celebrities.

They are seeking joint custody of their two-year-old daughter, Marina.
