A very glamorous looking Kate Hudson stepped out in New York last night looking like a carbon copy of her famous mother Goldie Hawn.

The 29-year-old actress who arrived in the Big Apple to appear on The Late Show with Conan O'Brien bore a striking resemblance to her stunning mother who was Hollywood royalty during the 70s and early 80s.

With her mother’s famous golden locks, cheeky smile and stunning eyes Kate looked as if she had stepped back in time.

In her heyday Goldie was like gold dust and wearing a sexy purple dress with a plunging neckline, Hudson looked the same.

The mother of one looked flawless as she greeted fans but was quickly ushered into the studio by bodyguards.

With a style- and hairdo- as fabulous as Charlie's Angels star Farah Fawcett, Kate-like her mother- is not short of a men to date.

The classic hairstyle has been copied by women world wide since Farrah fashioned it in the 70's.

The Fool’s Gold actress was once married to The Black Crowes front man Chris Robinson and has a son, Ryder.

She recently called it off with her on-off boyfriend Owen Wilson has been dating French cyclist Lance Armstrong.

It is rumoured that one of her break ups with Wilson caused his dramatic overdose.

Armstrong, 36- who has won the prestigious Tour de France seven times- was once engaged to Sheryl Crow and was also linked to Ashley Olsen.
