Maisie Smith led fans to believe she might have split with her boyfriend Max George, after she posted a cryptic video of herself crying on Tik Tok on Tuesday.

The Strictly Come Dancing star, 21, was seen in the 20-second clip shedding tears as she was comforted by her dog, along with the words “you didn’t deserve me” from the song Evergreen (You Didn’t Deserve Me) by Omar Apollo.

“Nothing but happiness these days,” Smith captioned.

Followers suspected Smith and George, 34, had broken up following the compilation video, and they took to the comments to figure out what had happened.

One user asked: “They’ve broken up?”, as another said: “Hope you’re OK angel”.

A second fan wrote: “If this is true!! he didn’t deserve you only happiness laughs smiles wild ways and adventures are what you deserve”.

A third added: “U r truly an amazing, inspirational and strong woman! Straighten your crown and walk tall!”

The video showed Smith in various clips crying as she looked down the camera lens red-eyed, leaving fans concerned.

George quickly ended the speculation of a possible split between them though following the video post, as he sweetly commented underneath: “My absolute world, my angel.”

Smith and George went public with their romance on Instagram in September.

The couple met when they both participated in Strictly in 2020, and grew closer after working on the Strictly Come Dancing tour afterwards.

Smith has uploaded a couple of videos of herself with George on Tik Tok, showing the pair head over heels for one another, prior to her recent cryptic post.

George even got a tattoo covering up his ex Stacey Gigg’s name, in a bold step, as he moves on with girlfriend Smith.

The pair have appeared inseparable recently, as George has been pictured showing his support for Smith while she plays the role of Fran in Strictly Ballroom The Musical.
