So when the Spice Girl spotted her husband Stephen Belafonte chatting to a blonde holidaymaker at their five-star Miami hotel, she gave him an offer he couldn't refuse.
The svelte singer, who admits she is looking her best after getting in shape on U.S. TV show Dancing With The Stars, asked her spouse to apply some sun lotion to her curvy figure.

The couple are currently three days into a child-free vacation in sunny Florida, which reached the blistering temperature of 31 degrees Celsius yesterday.
Clad in a trademark leopard-print bikini, Mel was intent on protecting her exposed skin from the hot sun.
After a boozy lunch, Mel fell asleep on her lounger for two hours, but attentive hubby was regularly on hand to top up her SPF as she dozed.

The couple have plenty to celebrate on holiday - they are just weeks away from their first wedding anniversary and Mel is turning 33 tomorrow.
Mel can also add modelling to her multi-faceted CV - she has recently been announced as the new face and body of Ultimo lingerie and swimwear.
Despite her new modelling job, Mel appears to have declined to wear Ultimo swimwear on her sun break.
During their break, Scary Spice has been downing rose champagne on a daily basis and chain-smoking by the pool.
After her holiday, Mel's got a busy few months.
She's returning to the studio to record her third solo album and is set to present new U.S. reality show The Singing Office.
